Alignarchitects is an independent architectural practice based in Thessaloniki, engaged in the design of unique, functional spaces.

It provides services in the related disciplines of architecture, urban, interior and energy efficient design. 

Co - founded by Kalliopi Limpou & Renata Douma

Renata Douma studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued her postgraduate studies at the AA-Architectural Association of London. She holds a Master in Science in Housing & Urbanism. Since her graduation she has been involved in large urban planing development projects via Diktio S.A. She is also co-founder and communication manager of the Open House Greece, an Urban Non-Profit Company with the aim of promoting architecture and culture in Greece and abroad, through the annual Open House events in Athens and Thessaloniki, events marking record numbers of 90.000 visits to 200 guided building & places per year.

Kalliopi Limpou studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued her postgraduate studies at the AA-Architectural Association of London. She holds a Master in Science in Sustainable Environmental Design. Since 2007 she has been team member on various private & public large scale Construction and Infrastructure Projects (i.e:Thessaloniki's Peripheral Motorway, a Lidl Hellas 2.500 sqm store). During 2017-2020 she was leading architect at Intrakat's Technical Site Office, for the Extension & Upgrading of SKG Airport by Fraport Greece. Alongside, she has been editor & editorial coordinator of technical books and magazines for Ktirio Technical Editions.
